Q: What is JoomlaStats?

A: JoomlaStats is a user/bot aware statistics component for Joomla. It's based on the TFSforMAMBO knowledge (since 2001).

JoomlaStats is the greatest tool to be aware of what users/bots are doing with your site.
JoomlaStats is specially for the Joomla community. The programming is aligned to fit perfectly with Joomla. Although the current release (2.1) is working fine with Mambo and we try to holdon to Mambo, there is no guaranty that Mambo will be supported in future releases. Did we mention it's released under the GPL? This means it's completely free!!!

Our prime priorities are:

  1. Features,
Give you the best information you could gain from your site.
  2. Performance,
Deliver the features at the highest performance possible.
This means that there are solutions out there, that perform better on heavily visited multi-hosting environments, but they often come short when it comes to displaying in depth information, real time.

We are trying to work with an opensource mind. This means there is a big community where you could be part of. You benefit from it, because there is support for your issues. You can read the FAQs and if you don't find what you want to achieve, there is a Forum where a lot of JoomlaStats users could already have found the answer you are looking for. If  you would like to see a function, that currently is not build into JoomlaStats, then you can post a feature request.
And on the other hand, don't be afraid to help other users to. They will be thankful!

Features
----------

+ JoomlaStats is session related
You not only can see all the page-hits, but you can see what happend during a session
+ Detailed visitor information
Be able to investigate what pages a visitor went through, including the path that was followed.
If the visitor logged in to Joomla, show his/her name.

+ Nice readable page names
log the name of the page in stead of something like http://domain.com/index.php?optionId=204

+ Multilanguage
Right now following languages are supported out of the box: EN,CZ,DE,DK,FR,IT,LT,NL,NO,PL,PT,RU,SE
It's very easy to translate your own language. If you do so, let us know.

+ Bots/Spiders are completely separated from browsers
So you can see what real users are viewing, without being irritated with the bots/spider requests.
Other stats often display x unique visits, where real visitors and bots are combined. But we bet
you want to know how many real users where visiting your site.
+ Tons of stats:

  • Referrers,
  • Bots/Spiders,
  • Search engines & Keywords
  • Systems (OS),
  • Browser,
  • Visitors UserName,
  • Visitors IP
  • Visitors Country
  • Visitors NS-Lookup
  • Page Hits (also by Visitor),
  • Average Visitors/bots,

+ Different modules to have frontend visability

+ Exclusion of IPs+System+Browser
This way you can exclude some sources from influencing your statistics.
For example your own admin source.

+ supports Joom!Fish translations (from version 2.1.9)
